Unitree Soars 600% in Blockbuster Shanghai Debut

Unitree, the world's biggest humanoid robot maker, surged over 600% in its Shanghai debut. Shares hit 1,100 yuan versus a 150.8 yuan IPO price before paring gains to nearly 500%. Founded in 2016 by CEO Wang Xingxing, it shipped over 5,500 humanoids last year, with retail demand oversubscribed by thousands. Analysts see humanoid sales growing from $2 billion to $300 billion by 2035. The U.S. FCC banned imports of future foreign humanoid models, and the Pentagon added Unitree to its Chinese military companies list.
